Morning Rituals: Finding Inspiration

My Day starts with a strong cup of coffee and some time spent flipping through vintage fashion archives, music records and old magazines. The 1970's was a goldmine of style, and I pull inspiration from everything - from iconic rockstars to bohemian muses.

Sketching & Designing

Once I'm in the zone, I start sketching or writing notes. Some days, I'm reimagining a classic jumpsuit with a fresh twist. Other days, I'm experimenting with textures, prints, and silhouettes that feel both retro and modern.

The Production Process: Ethical & Small Batch

Unlike fast fashion brands, we don't mass produce. Every Soul Sister since '69 piece is crafted in small batches in our in house atelier by myself. I ensure that every stitch button and fabric choice aligns with our soulful aesthetics.

Photoshoot Prep: Styling the Vision

Once new pieces are ready, we bring it to life in editorial - I personally style photoshoots. From selecting staging and designing the perfect vintage inspired setting, to curating accessories, every detail matters. The Goal? To capture that soulful, free spirited energy that defines our brand.

Connecting with the Soul Sister Community

One of my favourite parts of the day is engaging with our community - answering DMs, seeing customers rock our pieces, and seeing how Soul Sister since '69 makes them feel empowered.
